Georgia, Tbilisi, 19 August / Trend , N. Kirtskhalia/ No changes has taken place in the positions of the Russian forces in Georgia since the morning of 19 August. In the east of the country they exercise control over Gori and in the west over Zemo Svaneti, city of Sameqrelo region of the country.
The situation is still stabile and no serious incidents took place during the night. There is a secret curfew in these cities and the remaining part of the population try not to go out at nights.
The Russian President Dmitry Medvedev promised the withdrawal of the Russian forces due to begin from the noon of 18 August.
