Georgia, Tbilisi, 20 October/ Trend , corr N. Kirtskhalia/ Providing Security in Georgia's conflict zones still remains major problem. "The return of refugees is not accompanied with the major mechanisms of providing security," Daniel Fried, Assistant US Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs said at a press conference in Tbilisi.

Fried said in wake of August events, return of refugees as well as return of refuges to Abkhazia and South Ossetia remains major task as they are Georgia's provinces. "US and EU should work hard to provide great security and after that we can think about economic rehabilitation," Assistant Secretary of State said.

Regarding solution of the conflict, the US diplomat said he hopes the format of Geneva talks, the next round of which will be held on 18 November, will also contribute to it.
