Georgian Believe in Improvement of Relations with U.S.

Georgia, Tbilisi, 17 November/ Trend , corr. N.Kirtskhalia /The Georgians do not expect the change of relations between Georgia and the U.S. due to the election of Barack Obama to the office. In accordance with the poll carried out by the Kviris politra newspaper, some 52.7 percent out of 417 respondents expect no changes of relations in the Georgian-American relations.

Some 22.8 percent consider the relations between Georgia and the U.S. would be improved during Obama's presidency. Only 4.9 percent of respondents predict worsening of relations.

Other 19.6 percent of respondents failed to predict the further relations between the both countries during Obama's presidency.
