Georgia, Tbilisi, Feb. 2 / Trend , N.Kirtskhalia/ A Georgian parliamentary delegation led by Vice-Speaker Gigi Tsereteli has left for the U.S. this night. The delegation will meet with U.S. congressmen on Feb. 2, Tsereteli told journalists in the Tbilisi Airport.
"During the visit we will discuss enhancement of cooperation between the Georgian Parliament and U.S. Congress as part of the Georgia-U.S. Charter on Strategic Partnership. Support from U.S. lawmakers is very important for us," he said.
The visit will last until the end of the week.
