The European Parliament today will consider a report on the situation in South Caucasus.

Georgia's Ambassador to the EU Salome Samadashvili is concerned about the fact that certain political groups will try to ease the test report of the European Parliament on the situation in the South Caucasus.

According to the ambassador, in particular, for the first time it was said in the document that Georgia's territories have been occupied, and perhaps this definition will be the subject of sharp debates.

"The report adequately assess the situation in connection with ceasefire agreement and includes appeal to Russia immediately begin implementation of paragraphs of agreement".

She also noted that the EU report calls to increase pressure on Russia to liberate the territories of Georgia.

Debates on the report of the European Parliament will begin tomorrow.
