Georgia, Tbilisi, Aug.15 / Trend, N. Kirtskhalia /
Lawyers of the first Georgian President's son Tsotne Gamsakhurdia sentenced to long-term imprisonment will bring a suit to the Georgian Supreme Court to review the decision of the city and appeal courts.
As Tsotne's lawyer Keti Bekauri told Trend, if the Supreme Court does not take the "objective" decision, then they will appeal to the European Court of Human Rights in Strasbourg against the Georgian court's decision.
Tsotne Gamsakhurdia was sentenced to a 9-year imprisonment for attempted murder, and later, for attempting to bribe a guard in prison. He received another 4-year imprisonment.
The Tbilisi Court of Appeal confirmed the City Court's decision.
