Georgia to host Tourism Career Week

Tourism Career Week will be held in Georgia for the first time on Sept. 19-24. Within the week, a workshop will be held on preparing CV's, drawing up letters of motivation and interviewing, the Head of the National Agency for Tourism Maya Sidamonidze said.

Tourism Career Week will be held in Georgia for the first time on Sept. 19-24. Within the week, a workshop will be held on preparing CV's, drawing up letters of motivation and interviewing, the Head of the National Agency for Tourism Maya Sidamonidze said.

A presentation will be held with the participation of representatives from the leading tourist companies.

A career day will be held on Sept. 24, the last day of the special week. Participants will be able to meet with employers.

Tourism Career Week will be held in the Sheraton Metekhi Hotel and attended by representatives of about 40 companies and institutions of higher education. Hotels, tourism agencies, and transportation companies will represent employers.

Sidamonidze said that the Tourism Career Week aims to assist people interested in job placement, increasing service levels, and offering companies skilled cadres. Event partners include Ilia State University, International Migration Organization, Hotel Sheraton Metekhi Palace, Association of Employers, and Kei Management Solution Georgia.
