Association Droni has supported an initiative to promote a volunteering movement in Georgia and began implementing a European Volunteering Service (EVS) project called "Caravan of Volunteers." The project, financed by the European Union, with participation of Georgian and Polish volunteers, will last two months.

The Caravan of Volunteers will visit seven Georgian cities - Tbilisi, Gori, Kutaisi, Poti, Zugdidi, Batumi, and Chiatura, from Sept. 1 to Sept. 15. The caravan will attract students, young peoples, representatives of NGOs, and international organizations, as well as anyone who shows interest.

The project "Caravan of Volunteers" aims to approve voluntary ideas at local levels, provide active involvement of young peoples in voluntary movement at regional and international levels, popularize inter-culture through various creative events, and enhance relations between affiliated countries.

The "Caravan of Volunteers" will hold various events in Georgian cities: workshops, movie demonstrations, flashmobs, forum theatres, and ecological campaigns to enable support for volunteering opportunities. The project's participants will also promote nature preservation.
