The Georgian parliamentary delegation led by a Speaker of the Legislative Body David Bakradze, will visit New Zealand on September 6-8.

Bakradze will conduct meetings with the Speaker of New Zealand's Parliament Lockwood Smith, Leader of the Parliamentary Majority Simon Power, and other members of the legislative body. He will also meet with the Chairman of Foreign Affairs, Defense and Trade Committee John Hayes.

The Georgian delegation led by Bakradze visited Singapore on August 30. The meetings were held with representatives of local business and investment circles to attract investments to Georgia.

The delegation paid an official visit to Australia on September 2-4.

The main purpose of the visits to Australia and New Zealand was to develop bilateral contacts with leading Pacific countries.
