"Georgia has achieved getting its borders guarded during the Georgian-Russian talks on the WTO," Georgian President Mikhail Saakashvili said in an interview with journalists at his house in Kvareli today. "This is Georgia's great diplomatic victory."

"The main thing for us is that we will be able to control the movement of goods via the three trading corridors between Georgia and Russia. It should be noted that we knew nothing about the movement of goods at these two points since the early 1990s," Saakashvili said today.

"We have warned the international community that our demands will not change," he said. "This was taken into account."
