Georgia, Tbilisi, Nov. 9 / Trend , N.Kirtskhalia /
In an exclusive interview with the Polish Office EURACTIV, Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili spoke about the possibility of his future appointment as prime minister in 2013.
Replying to the question 'Is it true that in 2013, after your presidency expires you are going to become prime minister?' Mr Saakashvili replied: "Parliament should adopt very important reforms in 2013. Under our new Constitution, the President retains considerable powers, as well as the prime minister whose function will be important, but he is totally dependent on parliament. It is not such an interesting position for someone who is now president. "
Georgian opposition members and some experts believe that Mr. Saakashvili has changed the Constitution with a view to coming back into power in Georgia as Prime Minister.
