NATO-Georgia Committee separate meeting to be held in Chicago

A separate meeting of the NATO-Georgia Committee will be held in Chicago at the sidelines of a NATO summit, President of Georgia Mikhail Saakashvili reported on his visit to the UK after a meeting with Prime Minister David Cameron.
"It is decided that a separate meeting of the NATO-Georgia Committee will be held as an important part of the Chicago summit", he said.
The issue of Georgia NATO membership will be examined at the NATO Chicago summit to be held in May 2012, NATO Secretary General Ander Fog Rasmussen stated during his visit to Georgia.
He said his visit to Georgia was part of preparatory works for the Chicago summit.
