A centre of freedom named after the late U.S. President Reagan will open as part of a partnership agreement between the Georgian president's initiative group and the Reagan foundation in Georgia on November 23 at 14:00.

It will be the first centre outside the United States officially named after the President and will function as an official partner of the Georgia presidential fund.

Executive fund director John Hoibus, Senior Consultant Linda Bond, U.S. Congressmen David Dreier, Ed Whitfield, and Donald Payne will take part at the opening ceremony.
The monument to the 40th U.S. president will be opened at the Central Park of Rica in Tbilisi today.

Ronald Reagan's famous quote, 'Freedom is the duty of all generations' will be inscribed on the pedestal in both Georgian and English.
The bronze sculpture depicts Reagan sitting on a bench. Anyone will be able to sit down and take a picture with the monument. On Sunday, the sculpture was delivered to the park where work was carried out on its erection.
The statue's sculptor is Georgian artist Avtandil Monaselidze, who worked on the project for three years.
