By decree of the President of Georgia, 700 000 lari ($ 1 = 1.67 lari) will be allocated from its reserve fund for the reconstruction of the cathedral at Poti. The corresponding order Mikheil Saakashvili signed in Poti, while visiting the temple.
According to him, it will be the most beautiful cathedral. "We have a few years ago started the renovation of the temple and the need to accelerate the work," - Saakashvili said.
The President noted that 2012 will be special for Poti - built airport, expanding port, highway construction and high-speed Tbilisi-Poti railway.
