According to the Presidential Administration, President Saakashvili met with several congressmen.

The U.S. congressmen were briefed on the reforms carried out in Georgia and positively assessed them. President Saakashvili said not only countries of the former Soviet Union and Eastern Europe, but also Russia is interested in Georgia's reforms.
Congressman Duncan Hunter stressed Russia's interest in Georgia. He said 500,000 tourists from Russia visited Georgia last year.

The Congressmen emphasized that Georgia has a president who was able to defeat corruption, which was one of the main challenges for this country.
