Georgia actively cooperates with nuclear safety partners

Georgia actively cooperates with its partners in nuclear safety, National Security Council official Batu Kutelia told Georgian journalists in Seoul.
He is a member of the Georgian delegation, headed by President Mikhail Saakashvili and which attends the Summit on Nuclear Safety.
"The speeches of heads of states will mainly focus on activities that a country carries out in order to protect the world from nuclear threat. Georgia in this respect is actively working with partners. Legislation has been synchronized and improved," said Kutelia.
Seoul hosts Nuclear Safety Summit, which is attended by president of Georgia. He is accompanied by Foreign Minister Grigol Vashadze, Minister of Defence Bacho Akhalaia and Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Alexander Khetaguri.
