As Tuomioja told reporters at Tbilisi Airport, the meetings in Tbilisi will discuss the potential threat posed by a possible military conflict with Iran.

He said the talks will focus on Georgia-EU relations, their prospects, and deepening of bilateral Georgian-Finnish relations.

Finland's Foreign Minister will meet with his Georgian counterpart Grigol Vashadze, State Minister for Reintegration Eka Tkeshelashvili, Vice Speaker of the Parliament, the EU observation mission and representatives of political parties.

The visit coincides with the 20th anniversary of establishing diplomatic relations between Finland and Georgia.
