During the Chicago NATO summit, Georgia will participate in three meetings, NATO Secretary General Anders Fogh Rasmussen said at a press conference in Brussels.
The main topics at the summit will be Afghanistan and peacekeeping operation in which Georgia takes an active part. NATO Secretary-General reiterated that, in comparison with other countries, Georgia contributes greatly to this operation.
"Georgia will participate in three meetings at the Chicago summit. The president will attend in person a meeting of ISAF and the 13 partners which make a great contribution to this operation. And Georgia is making one of the biggest contributions, so we invited it to the meeting. In addition, Foreign Minister will represent Georgia at a meeting of aspirant countries," Rasmussen said.
