He said that large-scale meetings of refugees in Tbilisi, Zugdidi, Batumi and Khobi scheduled for May 12 are a peaceful event, which aims to start working on the restoration of the country's territorial integrity.

He added that the international charitable foundation will be established on May 12. Businessman living in Russia, international secretary of Renewed Georgia party Mindia Gulua will make the first contribution worth $1 million.

Georgian, Abkhaz and Ossetian businessmen will finance the new fund. The coordinating council will be formed. It will lead the political process and begin a dialogue with the Abkhaz and Ossetians.

A meeting of refugees in Batumi and Tbilisi will start at 15:00, at Khobi - at 12:00, Zugdidi - at 17:00. A concert of Georgian artists will be organized in the end of the day. Soso Giorgadze expects that tens of thousands of refugees will attend the event in Zugdidi and Batumi.

Military actions were launched in the Georgian region of South Ossetia on Aug.8, 2008. Later Russian troops occupied the city of Tskhinvali and drove the Georgian military back. Russia recognised the independence of Abkhazia and South Ossetia in late August.
