Head of Adjaran government Levan Varshalomidze met with Minister of State Transport, Infrastructure and Road Safety of Israel Katz in Batumi on Wednesday.
The sides discussed the bilateral cooperation, including organization of direct flights between Batumi and cities of Israel and the exchange of experience in port management.
Establishment of friendly relations between Batumi and Eilat was also discussed.
At the invitation of the Israeli side Varshalomidze will pay a return visit to Israel, probably in October.
