President of Georgia Mikheil Saakashvili opened a new hotel in Akhaltsikhe, built by "Visol Group", Georgian presidential administration told Trend on Friday.
Saakashvili inspected the Lomsiya hotel and had a talk with staff. Hotel manager is a Frenchman, Jean-Pierre Richeton, who has 35-year work experience in the hotel network of Europe.
Several million lari have been invested in the construction of the Visol Hotel. The hotel has 63 rooms to receive 150 guests. There are several restaurants. The project belongs to German architect Manfred Romshted and Georgian architect Tengiz Kvantaliani. The hotel employs 60 people, who attended special training sessions.
President Saakashvili visited the newly opened supermarket "Smart", which sells local agricultural products.
