The political debate of the candidates in the parliamentary elections will be broadcast by the Georgian public broadcaster on September 9. The candidates for the post of Georgian Prime Minister will attend.
This year, the debates will be translated into the languages of national minorities and in particular, Azerbaijani and Armenian.
After the live broadcasts, the public broadcaster is planning to transmit them on TV channels in Kvemo Kartli and Samtskhe-Javakheti regions, densely populated by Armenians.
The parliamentary elections will be held in Georgia on Oct. 1.
