Security issues in the South Caucasus region were discussed in Brussels at a meeting between NATO Deputy Secretary General Alexander Vershbow and State Minister on European and Euro-Atlantic Integration Tornike Gordadze at the NATO headquarters.
As the minister's office reported, the meeting was also attended by Deputy State Minister Nana Khoshtaria and NATO Secretary General's Special Representative for the Caucasus and Central Asia James Appathurai.
Vershbow and Gordadze stressed the positive dynamics in relations between Georgia and NATO, as evidenced by NATO high-ranking representatives' frequent visits to Georgia.
Various meetings at NATO headquarters are scheduled during Gordadze's visit to Brussels.
