Georgia interested in export of agricultural production to China

Georgian PM Vano Merabishvili met with the delegation of China on Monday.

According to the report of the state administrative office, the delegation consists of representatives of the Chinese Council of Internal Trade Promotion and of Chinese companies.

The parties have discussed the broadening of bilateral economic relations and the increase of Chinese investments in Georgian economy, in particular in industrial and financial sectors.

The Prime stressed the export of Georgian agricultural production and other goods to the Chinese market and the promotion of the number of Chinese Tourists in Georgia as well as the broadening of communications between the countries.

The parties also discussed the use of Georgian territories for export of Chinese production to Europe.
