Georgia chose freedom and goes on this way, in spite of all sorts of problems and interference, said President of Georgia Mikheil Saakashvili in his speech at the UN General Assembly.

He expressed his loyalty to this way, which will confirmed and elections scheduled for October 1. "This is an honest and objective elections and all international organizations confirm the competitiveness and equal opportunities of the political forces," the president said.

Saakashvili said that Georgia after gaining freedom fight for its preservation against constant attacks northern neighbor. "We confirm that we have come to do good deeds and the people of Georgia will not allow to change the selection of Georgia. We believe in our people and Georgia will once again go through the development of democratic institutions, confirming our choice to be free and open," Saakashvili said.
