Interior Ministry disseminated telephone call records of the leaders of Georgian Dream party Kakha Kaladze and Gubaz Sanikidze. In this regard the ministry has held a special briefing.
The law enforcement agencies have arrested the kingpin David Khizanishvili in Tbilisi, who acted according the order of Lashi Shushanishvili. His purpose was to pressurize the voters in the favor of one of two opposition parties with the assistance of criminal gang.
According to Interior Ministry, there is one more record - the wiretapping of Georgian Dream leader Kakhi Kaladze.
We will present the audio records, discovered by ministry due to operative activities, where the connections between Khaladze and Georgian kingspins are exposed, - the ministry noted.
According to the ministry, one of the materials is on the transaction details between majority candidate of Georgian Dream in Kutaisi Gubaz Sanikidze and former security minister Eduard Shevardnadze, who currently lives in Russia and Valeri Khaburzania. According to ministry's information, Sanikidze offers money award to Khaburzania for liberation of one of kingspins.
