The international tennis tournament Batumi Ladies Open 2012, which was sponsored by Georgian Batumi Oil Terminal, ended on September 22, BOT reported.
40 participants from 9 countries took part in the tournament, which made this competition the large-scale event in tennis world.
"Our Company has supported this tennis tournament over the past several years. It is not only sports support for us - but also support of the young people, which present example to follow, and all of this helps us to bring up a new healthy generation of this region and the country on the whole," Batumi Oil Terminal's General Director Abay Turikpenbayev said.
Turikpenbayev expressed gratitude to the organizers for high level of the event and to the tournament participants and personnel.
The Batumi Sea Port is situated in the South-West part of the Black Sea. In February, 2008, the subsidiary of the Kazakh National Oil and Gas Company KazMunaiGas - KazTransOil, acquired the right of long-term management of Batumi Sea Port, as well as purchased Batumi Oil Terminal.
