The Georgian Dream Party coalition leader who won the parliamentary elections Bidzina Ivanishvili has put forward David Usupashvili, leader of the Republican Party of Georgia, to the post of the Georgian Parliament's chairman.
Manana Kobakhidze will be first vice-speaker, while Zviad Dzidziguri, Zurab Tkemaladze and Zurab Abashidze - vice-speakers.
Ivanishvili will put the following people forward to posts as heads of committees: Gigla Abulashvili - committee on agriculture, Eka Beselia - civil integration, Vano Kiguradze - education and science, Gia Tsagareishvili - environmental protection and resources, Nodar Khaduri - economy sector, Gubaz Sanikidze - committee of diasporas and the Caucasus, Victor Dolidze - European integration, Irakli Sesiashvili - defence and security, legal issues - Vakhtang Khmaladze, Irakli Tripolsky - regional policy, Irina Ivanishvili - procedural issues, David Onoprishvili - financial and budget committee, Leri Khabelov - sports and youth affairs and Dmitry Khundadze - health committee.
