CEO of the Poti Port, Joseph Crowley has resigned. As Crowley told reporters, his deputy Spin Davidson, who has already arrived in Poti, will be Acting Director-General of the port.
"The process of devolution of powers is already underway. It is not associated with the ongoing events. This was planned long before 2-3 months ago. This is a normal part of the business," Crowley said.
Dismissal of more than 500 workers of the port last year and current indefinite strikes, which began six days ago, is associated with Joseph Crowley's work period.
