The Prime Minister of Georgia Bidzina Ivanishvili is going to withdraw from politics following the local elections in 2014. This was stated by the prime minister in Brussels at a meeting with Georgian emigrants.

"I'm going to leave politics after the local elections in spring of 2014. However I'm not going to leave vanquished. I will leave a very good government and will move to the civilian sector to control this government," Ivanishvili said.

"We must accustom ourselves to the fact that the government should not stick to one person. Society must evolve and this is my biggest dream, "he said.
