According to the Tbilisi city court, imprisonment in the form of a preliminary measure of restraint has been chosen for former Deputy Interior Minister, acting Vice-Mayor of Tbilisi Shota Khizanishvili. He will stay in prison for two months till the trial begins.

According to the Tbilisi city court, imprisonment in the form of a preliminary measure of restraint has been chosen for former Deputy Interior Minister, acting Vice-Mayor of Tbilisi Shota Khizanishvili. He will stay in prison for two months till the trial begins.

He was charged with abuse of office and illegally obtaining private information.

Khizanishvili may be sentenced from 2 to 5 years.
