Georgia is facing a challenging time, President Mikheil Saakashvili said at Bagrati Cathedral in a talk with journalists.
"I will not leave my people in such times," he said.
As Saakashvili said, more people in Georgia are realizing that the country faces challenging times.
"I am sure at a time when an instinct of destruction grows after many years of development, our people will not allow destruction. Our country should further develop. For my part I want to say that I have been with my people in times of peace, in time of war and in the period of revival, and I will not leave my people also in the trial. We must maintain the unity, peace, strength and faith in the future," Saakashvili said.
