The United National Movement will name its candidate for presidency in the elections to be held in Georgia in 2013 after the debates with the public. As the party’s Secretary General Vano Merabishvili told the “Rustavi 2” TV company, "we want to debate with the public, and give an opportunity not only to party members, but also the public to join this process".

The United National Movement will name its candidate for presidency in the elections to be held in Georgia in 2013 after the debates with the public. As the party's Secretary General Vano Merabishvili told the "Rustavi 2" TV company, "we want to debate with the public, and give an opportunity not only to party members, but also the public to join this process".

Thus, Merabishvili said that there is a goal - show everyone how transparent and understandable the decision-making procedures are in the party".

"The United National Movement is going to take part in all elections that will take place in Georgia. Of course, we are going to become stronger, get renewed, and introduce new methods in our governance. Of course, we will participate in all elections to be held in Georgia - presidential, parliamentary, local or other. We make the initiative and in the coming days will hold presentation so that the governance at all levels was elected through direct elections," Merabishvili said.
