Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili has approved the new staff of the delegation, negotiating about the association with the EU, "Journal of Laws" reported today.
The delegation included Georgian first deputy foreign minister, head of delegation, co-coordinator of the first Working Group David Zalkaniani, Deputy Foreign Minister, co-coordinator of the working group Nikoloz Vashakidze, Director of the European Integration Department under the Georgian Foreign Ministry, head of the executive secretariat of the delegation Tea Akhvlediani, Deputy Interior Minister, Coordinator of the second Working Group Levan Izoria, Deputy Minister of Justice, Deputy Coordinator of the second Working Group Gocha Lortkipanidze, Deputy State Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic integration, coordinator of the third working group Tamar Beruchashvili, Deputy Minister of Finance, Deputy Coordinator of the third Working Group David Lezhava, Deputy Minister of Health, Deputy Coordinator of the third Working Group Mariam Jashi, deputy Minister of Economy, coordinator of the fourth working group Mikheil Janelidze, deputy Minister of Economy, Deputy Coordinator of the third and fourth working groups Irakli Matkava, head of European integration department, Office of State Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration Archil Karaulashvili.
According to the presidential decree, the following groups will operate within the delegation: I working group - political dialogue and reform, cooperation in foreign and security policy; II working group - justice, freedom and security; III working group - financial and technical cooperation, contact between peoples, economic and sectoral cooperation; IV working group - trade and related issues, trade and cooperation in the field of regulation.
