Tbilisi Major Gigi Ugulava has not pleaded himselsf guilty. Ugulava stated at a special briefing on Friday that he personally provided jobs to 1500 people.
"Yes, I provided jobs for these people and proud of it. As a result of many months of vain attempts of the new authorities, the persecution of our relatives, they were able to push me only two charges those are absurd," he said.
Investigation Service of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia on Saturday at 14.00 formally nominate Ugulava charges of money laundering, fraud in the admission of workers in OOO "Tbliservis" from the members of the United National Movement Party.
"I am of course worried because I am accused at first," he said.
Ugulava hopes that at the trial will be given all the answers.
