The Georgian government is working to return Georgian agricultural products to the Russian market, Georgian Prime Minister Bidzina Ivanishvili said at a meeting with regional media representatives on Thursday.
He added that the next negotiations will be held in Moscow on March 18.
"I think that the negotiations will be successful and Georgian companies producing agricultural products will return to the Russian market," Ivanishvili said.
The matter rests in resuming exports of vegetables, fruits and other Georgian products to Russia. The first round of talks was held in Moscow in early February. Its results have been positively evaluated by both parties.
Ivanishvili also expressed satisfaction with the talks on deliveries of Georgian wine and mineral water to Russia.
"At this stage, some 40 Georgian companies already have the right to export wine and mineral water and I think this will help our economy," he said.
