Georgia, Tbilisi, March 21 / Trend N. Kirtzkhalia /
The 14th round of negotiations on the association agreement between Georgia and the EU will be held in Brussels on March 21-23.
The Georgian Foreign Ministry told Trend that the Georgian side at the meeting will be represented by the first deputy foreign minister David Zalkaliani.
The Council of Foreign Ministers of 27 EU countries approved the negotiating framework by giving a mandate to the European Commission to negotiate about the conclusion of bilateral association agreements between the EU and Armenia, Azerbaijan and Georgia.
After the associated agreement comes into force, it will replace the existing bilateral agreements on partnership and cooperation between Georgia and the EU.
Georgia hopes to complete talks on association agreement by the end of the year.
