Georgian Prime Minister Bidzina Ivanishvili and the OSCE High Commissioner on National Minorities Knut Vollebaek discussed on Wednesday issue of protection of rights of national minorities.
The meeting was held at the residence of the Prime Minister in Tbilisi.
The sides noted the immutability of the protection of rights of national minorities, administration of the prime minister told Trend.
Vollebaek Ivanishvili have paid special attention to the situation in the conflict zones in Georgia, the conditions of refugees and internally displaced persons.
The prime minister said about the gravity of the humanitarian situation in the conflict zone and the need for the establishment of the OSCE monitoring for developments there.
The parties also discussed the establishment of barbed wire on the border of Georgia's breakaway regions.
