During his visit to Israel, Georgian Prime Minister Bidzina Ivanishvili met with Speaker of the Knesset Yuli Edelstein.
The Georgian government told Trend that the parties discussed the possibility of intensifying the partnership between the two countries and agreed to intensify the cooperation between the Georgian and Israeli parliaments.
The cooperation in the fields of agriculture and investments was also discussed.
Edelstein added that Georgia and Israel have friendly relations and it is important to develop the bilateral relations between the countries.
