Georgia, Tbilisi, July 8 / Trend, N. Kirtzkhalia /
The parliamentary minority has ceased its boycott in Georgia.
The members of the faction of the president's party the "National Movement" made this decision during closed consultations held at the party office on Monday.
The minority will join in on parliamentary activity this week within an extraordinary session, minority leader David Bakradze told reporters.
According to him, the boycott was launched to bring the detention of 23 employees of the City Hall to the public's attention.
"Our objective was to draw more attention to the incident," Bakradze said. "Today, there are specific tasks, specific laws. The opposition's participation is important in their consideration."
