The special representative of the Georgian Prime Minister on Russian-Georgian relations Zurab Abashidze expressed on behalf of the Georgian government concern due to escalation of tension in Georgian-Ossetian conflict zone at a meeting with the with Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Grigory Karasin.
"I noted that the actions in the conflict zone on arrangement of so-called border is a violation of all internationally recognized standards. Georgia is concerned about such actions of the Russian side and points to the inadmissibility of this," he said.
