The process of limiting Georgian President's authorities is continuing in the parliament.
Now, Georgian parliament proposes to limit the president's competence on establishing temporary territorial units. These authorities will be transferred from the president to the government.
This legislative initiative is being considered in the third reading at a meeting of the Parliamentary Committee on Regional Policy and Local Government on Thursday.
Changes are being made to the law 'On creation of appropriate conditions for a peaceful solution of the conflict in the former Autonomous District of South Ossetia".
