Imports of petroleum products to Georgia hit their highest levels in September 2013.
The Union of Petroleum Products Importers of Georgia told Trend on Friday that oil imports (gasoline and diesel fuel) amounted to 90,200 tons which exceeds the same figure of August by 9,400 tons.
Gasoline imports amounted to 36,100 tons and diesel fuel import amounted to 54,100 tons.
Some 596,700 tons of oil products (gasoline and diesel fuel) was imported to Georgia during the first nine months of 2013, which is by 17,400 tons more than in the same period if 2012.
When considering other types of imports, imports amounted to 37,200 tons in the first nine months of 2013.
