Georgian ex-president Eduard Shevardnadze voted at home.
The assistant of the ex-president told journalists that the representatives of the election commission visited one of the mansions of Shevardnadze's former governmental residence with portable ballot box.
The ex-president made his choice, but didn't say for whom he voted.
Shevardnadze, who is 85 years old, doesn't appear at public event in recent times.
However, he gives an actively weekly interview to "Asaval-Dasavali" newspaper and foreign newspapers.
Shevardnadze was forced to resign as a result of the "Rose Revolution", that was organized by the current President of Georgia Mikheil Saakashvili.
