By Nana Kirtzkhalia - Trend: Georgian president Mikheil Saakashvili will not participate at the Vilnius summit of the EU "Eastern Partnership".
"New president, probably will go to the summit in Vilnius. This is clearly not my function", Saakashvili said.
Earlier today Saakashvili said, that he will participate at the Vilnius summit of the EU "Eastern Partnership".
"We're going together to the summit and we will take a step towards the EU, albeit more modest than expected," Mikheil Saakahvili said on Wednesday at the presidential palace during the meeting with the diplomatic corps accredited in Georgia.
"I am glad that you are here and we are going to Vilnius together. I am grateful to you that we managed to do many things on this way," he said.
According to preliminary information, Georgian delegation, consisting of eight people will go to the Vilnius summit.
