Energo-pro Georgia to invest 50 million lari in 2014

The Czech energy distribution company Energo-pro Georgia plans to invest some 50 million lari ($1= 1.67 lari) in 2014 in rehabilitation of power networks, the installation of individual meters for subscribers and rehabilitation of hydropower plants in Georgia.

According to the statement of the company's new Director General Nikolay Nikolov a number of projects will be implemented with these investments.

"These are the projects aimed at rehabilitation of the network and installation of individual meters for our subscribers. A part of the funds will be used for rehabilitation of hydropower plants owned by us," Nikolov said.

According to the company, since entering the Georgian market in 2007, Energo-pro invested some 52.33 million lari in generation and 439.126 million lari in distribution.
