Georgian Foreign Minister Maia Panjikidze held meetings as part of her official visit to Romania.
Panjikidze met with her Romanian counterpart Titus Corlăţean.
Besides the bilateral relations and cooperation in various fields, the ministers discussed Georgia's progress at the Vilnius summit and the country's further actions on European integration, the Georgian Foreign Ministry said today.
Corlăţean said that Romania supports Georgia in its European and Euro-Atlantic aspirations.
The sides also discussed the exchange of senior officials' visits.
"I want to stress Georgia's success at the Vilnius summit," Corlăţean said. "Romania is interested in supporting Georgia in its European integration. We discussed a wide range of bilateral relations and cooperation prospects. We have a broad agenda at all levels. Particular attention was paid to bilateral interests in the economic sphere."
