Georgia's foreign trade turnover with EU countries amounted to $2.879 billion in 2013 which is three percent more than in 2012. The share of export in the country's foreign trade turnover amounted to $608 million (increase by 72 percent) and the share of import totaled $2.271 billion (decrease by seven percent) during the reporting period, GruzStat (Georgian National Statistical Service) said on Jan.24.

The share of EU countries in the total foreign trade turnover of Georgia amounted to 27 percent, including 21 percent for export and 29 percent for import, during the reporting period.
