Representatives of the Georgian Interior Ministry's International Relations Department, Information-Analytical Department, Reform and Development Agency and the Central Criminal Police Department held introductory meetings with the new liaison officer of the Belgian federal police, Sebastien Joris, according to a message from the Georgia Interior Ministry.
Joris got acquainted with the structure of the Georgian Interior Ministry, as well as, with the reforms going on there, the ministry said.
The parties also discussed cooperation and future plans.
Sebastien Joris assumed his duties as a liaison officer of the Belgian police on January 1.
The liaison office of the Belgian federal police is located in Istanbul, Turkey.
