Georgian Interior Minister Alexander Chikaidze held a meeting with his Israeli counterpart Gideon Sa'ar on April 24.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the prospects for intensification of cooperation between Israel and Turkey, as well as the issues related to the visa-free regime created between the two countries.

During the meeting, Chikaidze briefed his Israeli counterpart about the reforms carried out in Georgia's law enforcement sphere and expressed readiness to establish close cooperation with Israel in the sphere of combating organized crime and terrorism, Georgian Interior Ministry told Trend on April 24.

Israeli interior minister has arrived in Georgia for a three-day visit. During the visit, he will meet with Georgian prime minister, the country's government members, as well as with the Catholicos-Patriarch of All Georgia, Ilia II.
